Brooklyn Dog Park

Consultation to inform the Concept Plans of Brooklyn Dog Park

Consultation has now closed.

Over the past few years, Hobsons Bay City Council has been investigating options for the establishment of a fenced off leash area in Brooklyn for dogs and their owners.

The consultation process has included three community consultation sessions and two dog park trials. Based on the consultation results, it has been determined that there is a high demand for a dog park in Brooklyn.

In July 2017 Council endorsed the establishment of a dog park at Brooklyn Reserve and allocated $170,000 for it's development. We will soon be developing concept plans for the dog park and would like to hear from Brooklyn residents and potential future users via the survey below, which will be used to inform the concept plans.

Once the concept plans have been developed they will be made available to the public in February 2018 via the Council website.

We thank everyone who has taken part in this project thus far and encourage you to click the stay informed button to receive project updates.
