The opportunity to provide feedback on the Cherry Lake exercise equipment has now concluded. If you would like to get in touch with us regarding this project, please see the Who's Listening box (right)
Come and try session
Come and talk to us and try out the new fitness equipment at two stations at Cherry Lake.
Members of the project team and a fitness trainer will be onsite at Stations 1 and 2 on Saturday 27 October between 10am and 12 pm to answer questions on how the fitness stations work and to get your feedback on the equipment.
Meet us at:
Station 1 at 10 am - at the Cherry Lake carpark between the playground and the beginner's skate bowl.
Station 2 at 11 am - located east of the Fresno Street carpark.
Let us know how you use
Cherry Lake has been selected as the initial site for the fitness equipment station trial. Following the installation of the fitness stations, Hobsons Bay City Council will be seeking your feedback on the three stations and the type of equipment you use.
The information gathered will inform the implementation of future fitness stations across the municipality.
You can provide your feedback by completing the surveys below.
The trial runs from August to December 2018.
Currently, there are two reserves in Hobsons Bay that have fitness stations in them, one at Brooklyn Reserve and one at the Altona Meadows Community Park. The fitness stations at these reserves are well used by the local community they serve.
Information on the existing fitness stations in Hobsons Bay can be found at www.hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au/fitness
