A plan to guide growth within the Spotswood Activity Centre
Hobsons Bay City Council is inviting feedback on the draft Spotswood Activity Centre Structure Plan (SACSP) – a long term plan to guide land use, built form, public space, and infrastructure.
The SACSP gives shape to the Better Places Spotswood and South Kingsville (BPSSK) community vision by outlining key directions, future land use and built form, and improvement projects for the Spotswood activity centre and surrounds over the next 15 - 20 years.
The SACSP has been informed by the BPSSK community and stakeholder consultation and various technical reports.
Community Vision in BPSSK Place Guide for Spotswood
Council is also inviting feedback on some projects identified in the BPPSK Place Guide, including the Greenline, Streets for People and Mary Street Reserve Master Plan. The Greenline project explores opportunities for separated bike lanes and improved streetscape along Hall, McLister and Birmingham Streets. The Streets for People project aims to make our residential streets better places through safer speeds and measures to beatify the environment.
