Cricket nets, landscaping, pathways and park furniture
Following the Ordinary Council Meeting on 11 February, Council has confirmed the location of the cricket nets on the southern boundary of the Donald McLean Reserve on Melbourne Road in Spotswood. We are inviting feedback about what you think is important to consider for landscaping, placement of pathways and park furniture.
- What landscaping would you like to see around the cricket nets, multi-purpose tennis courts and pavilions?
- Are the pathways depicted in the Concept Plan in the right place to ensure safety, ease of access and best use of the Reserve?
- What park furniture (i.e. benches, water fountains, bins, bike hoops etc.) would you like to see and where?
It is easy to participate! Take a few moment to answer the questions below or come to the Community Information Session on Wednesday 19 February at the Roy Picone Pavilion at the Reserve from 6 to 7.30 pm.
Watch this space for more information in the coming months for your opportunity to help with the design of the enhanced and improved playground on the south side of the Reserve.
