Multiple streams will be made available to scholarship recipients to choose a time that best suits their schedule.
The Online Program will run over 5 weeks and will be funded by Hobsons Bay City Council.
The 5 weeks include:
- Leadership Development: This cohort-based virtual learning experience leverages women's sports to teach leadership skills through engaging live and online lessons.
- Guest Speakers: Participate in live events featuring professional athletes and leaders who share invaluable insights and motivation to help you reach your full potential.
- Weekly Mentoring: Join weekly sessions to connect with your cohort, engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and ask questions.
- Community Membership: Enjoy a 12-month membership offering ongoing support, networking opportunities, and access to exclusive events.
- Member Discounts: Benefit from discounts on apparel, tickets to sporting events, first access to exclusive offers, and more.
- Project Component: Participants will complete a project that encompasses their key outcomes from the program, integrating a creative design and storytelling element. As part of the project, we will be looking to engage the successful applicants to tick off actions within the Fair Access Action Plan on council's behalf.
A Train the Trainer model will be used. This will ensure the knowledge and skills obtained from the course will continue to be passed onto women and girls within the club who wish to further explore their leadership and mentoring roles in the future.
