How to make a submission

You can provide comments on Amendment C133 by making a written submission.

Your submission must be made in writing and include your name and contact details. This ensures you will continue to be part of the process.

Submissions should clearly state the grounds on which you support or oppose the Amendment, and indicate what changes (if any) you wish to suggest.

Public exhibition period

Submissions are invited until Friday 12 August 2022 and can be:

  • made online (click on 'Make a submission' in the tab above)
  • emailed to amendments@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au, or
  • mailed to Hobsons Bay City Council, PO Box 21, Altona VIC 3018. Attention Strategic Planning, Amendment C133

Please include 'Amendment C133 – submission' in the subject line when making a submission via email.

An amendment to the Hobsons Bay Planning Scheme must follow the process legislated by the state government in the Planning and Environment Act 1987. Due to this, Hobsons Bay Council must make a copy of every submission available on request, free of charge until two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
