We want your help to review the Bruce Comben Reserve Master Plan to accommodate a new aquatic facility on the reserve!

Council is seeking expressions of interest from members of the community to participate in a stakeholder reference group (SRG). The SRG will help guide the revision of the Bruce Comben Reserve Master Plan to allow for a new aquatic facility to be appropriately located to compliment all the users on site.

The recently endorsed Hobsons Bay Aquatic Strategy recommended the development of a new aquatic facility on Bruce Comben Reserve. To achieve this task, an update to the Bruce Comben Reserve Master Plan is required.

A SRG is being established to help guide an update to the maser plan prior to is being put on public exhibition for comment. The SRG will contain representatives from the organisations currently located on Bruce Comben Reserve as well as four interested community members, which Council is recruiting for.

Organisations that will be represented on the SRG include:

  • Altona Roosters Rugby League Club
  • Cooraminta Children's Centre
  • Seabrook Cricket Club
  • Westside Touch Association

Council is seeking four community representatives who have an interest in Bruce Comben Reserve and are willing to dedicate time to assist in the review of the master plan process.

If you are interested in participating in the SRG as a local community representative we ask that you read the terms of reference located in the Document Library to the right of the screen.

You can access the terms of reference by clicking here.

The expression of interest nomination process is now closed. Council is assessing the applications and will get back to you shortly.
