As the trial period of 'The Village Spot' pop-up at Forrest Street in Spotswood comes to an end, we’re inviting community feedback on the experience.

While there are no plans to continue 'The Village Spot' beyond the trial, your feedback may play a key role in shaping future projects. Your insights may help inform similar projects within Hobsons Bay, as well as any future developments near Hudsons Road.

In 2023, we consulted with the local community to understand their ideas for a pop-up in Forrest Street—an exciting initiative under the Better Places Spotswood and South Kingsville program.

Based on feedback received, we proceeded with the pop-up trial.

The three-month trial features a full road closure at the Hudsons Road end of Forrest Street.
