Bladin Street Reserve

Bladin Street Reserve is in the north of Laverton, on the corner of Bladin Street and Old Geelong Road and is a small park with large mature trees, existing play equipment with seating and a water fountain.

We have developed a concept design for the upgrade of this park based on what we heard from the community during the Better Places Laverton project.

What’s included in this park upgrade?

The playground at Bladin Street Reserve will be upgraded with a fresh coat of paint and new equipment installed. Log seating and picnic settings will create places for rest. The area under the mature trees will be mulched and will include logs and rocks for nature play. Species native to the Western Basalt Plains and coastal region will be planted to form habitat for local fauna.

When will construction commence?

The upgrade works at Bladin Street Reserve is anticipated to commence in late March or early April 2022.
