Dennis Reserve is a popular park in central Williamstown. It is home to the Williamstown Central Tennis Club, Williamstown Bowling Club and the Williamstown Senior Citizens Building, where a range of community groups participate in activities and events. The reserve contains heritage features, a play space, established trees and gardens.

Dennis Reserve is an important reserve for the local community and it provides a key connection between the Williamstown Activity Centre, local residential areas and other public facilities, as well as a diverse range of active and passive recreation opportunities.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 12 March 2019, Council endorsed the Dennis Reserve Master Plan. Council is now working towards the commencement of Stage 3 of the Master Plan, the demolition of the existing Senior Citizens Centre and the construction of a new multipurpose community facility to house the existing tenants within the Williamstown Seniors Building and provide new club room facilities for the Williamstown Central Tennis Club.

In the design development stage of this process, Council is establishing a working group consisting of representatives from the users within the Williamstown Seniors building and the Williamstown Central Tennis Club. In addition, we are seeking three independent community representatives to sit on this group.

If you would like to nominate to be a community representative on the Dennis Reserve Multipurpose Facility Working Group, please complete the form below. Alternatively you can get a hard copy form from the Williamstown Library or request one be sent to you by calling 1300 179 944 or emailing here.

Council is seeking three independent community representatives to sit on the Dennis Reserve Multipurpose Community Facility Working Group.

Depending on the number of expressions of interest we receive, the community representatives will go through a selection process based on level of interest, previous experience on similar working groups, demographic criteria and availability for meetings.

If you are interested in being a representative from one of the tenants and groups resident within the Williamstown Seniors Building or from the Williamstown Central Tennis Club please contact your executive directly, as these groups are running a separate process.

To ensure we attract a wide selection of representatives, please answer the following questions.
